Job Overview: The Event Planning Volunteer will assist in the planning and execution of events that support The Prison Dr’s mission. You will work on everything from small community gatherings to large fundraising events, ensuring they run smoothly and successfully. Your organizational skills and attention to detail will help make these events memorable and impactful.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in planning and coordinating events, from concept to execution.
- Manage event logistics, including venue setup, catering, and registration.
- Work with vendors, sponsors, and volunteers to ensure event success.
- Track event outcomes and assist in post-event reporting.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Previous event planning experience is preferred.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Commitment:
- 10-15 hours per month, with more hours required closer to event dates.
- Must be available for weekend and evening events.
